This is the first time i've read Frankenstein, or even my first experience with Frankenstein since i've never seen one of the film addaptions either.
I wanted to read a classic gothic novel for a while, so I decided to buy this book, because it was on the Rory Gilmore reading challenge, i've seen a booktube video about it, and it was short so it seemed easy to read.
But even though this book is quite short, it took me more than a week to finish!
I find it a bit hard to rate and review this proparly, because I really really like the deeper message in this book, but on the other hand didn't enjoy this book because of the writingstyle.
Some parts I really liked (like the scene where the creature looks after a family and hopes to befriend them), but there were a lot of parts that kind of bored me. I didn't really like the conversations between the characters, and I feel that sometimes the setting / environment was overly described.
I did like the message very much, or the message that I got out of it; we shouldnt be so judgemental, everyone needs love.
